About

The mission of the Bonneville Power Administration’s (BPA) Energy Efficiency Emerging Technology (E3T) Program is to identify and assess innovative and valuable end-use technologies that could help save electric energy in the Pacific Northwest but currently lack a foothold in the region.

Since 2009, the E3T Program has facilitated collaboration among technology experts and regional stakeholders to "fill the pipeline" of utility conservation programs with new solutions that:

  • Promise significant region-wide energy savings, and
  • Help accelerate the adoption of these emerging technologies.

The E3TNW database is managed by the Washington State University Extension Energy Program and sponsored by the Bonneville Power Administration.
