Energy Management TAG Scoring Session

Thank you for serving on BPA’s Energy Efficiency Emerging Technology (E3T) Energy Management Technical Advisory Group (EM TAG). We offer apologies to those who cannot make the meeting on this date. We’ve chosen a time that most TAG members indicated availability. Recordings of this session will be made available on the E3T Connect website.
Goals of the meeting
The Scoring meeting is part of one of the most involved sections of the TAG cycle. Immediate goals of this session will be to revisit a few top-ranking EM TAG technologies in detail. TAG members and invited guests will present on each technology. The presentations will address specific characteristics the Scoring stage is charged with evaluating:
1.    Energy Savings
2.    Non-Energy Benefits
3.    Technology Readiness
4.    Ease of Adoption
5.    Value
Ranking members will have an opportunity to score or re-score those characteristics for each technology and offer narrative comments in an online survey. During the meeting the TAG will begin to develop recommendations specific to each emerging technology under consideration.
In advance of the meeting
Much of the remaining work TAG members perform will be done before and during the Scoring meeting. If you volunteered to detail information on E3TNW.org for a technology emerging from the Ranking stage, but need a hand getting started there, please call (presenters will be contacted directly). If you haven’t volunteered but would like to get more involved, please contact us as well.
Please register for the webinar when you receive your invitation, not at the time of the meeting.
We will send you a link to the Scoring Survey for each of the energy technologies the week of the meeting. You may fill out the survey in advance of the meeting if you are very familiar with details of the particular technology. We encourage TAG members to learn from the presentations and subsequent discussion before submitting final answers.
Please let us know your plans
You will receive a GoToWebinar invitation, the agenda, and the list of existing measures soon. Please also let us know if you will be at the meeting in Olympia in person. Please contact me at 360 956-2092 or MountjoyVenningA@energy.wsu.edu or Angela Phillips at 360 956-2112 or PhillipsA@energy.wsu.edu for assistance.
